We are pleased to announce registration is open for our first Putnam Park Track Day. We were given a unique opportunity to rent the track for a day.
Lappers will be split up into groups based on skill level. Novice (0 -4 track days), Intermediate (4+ track days), and Advanced. This will give all skill levels the best experience. Each group will do 20 minute sessions lapping. There will be 3 sessions an hour from 9am until 5pm. This may change depending on how many people we are signed up for the event and the skill level. We may only have 2 groups with sessions every 20 minutes.
After the success of our first track day last year and two scheduled track days this I started to wonder about the history of Nelson Ledges road course. I came across a article (link below) that decribed the relation between Ford
and Nelson Ledges.
At one point Ford did an extraordinary thing back in the early 80s, and very few people know about it today. Engineers from the Mustang development team took their Mustang SVO engineering prototypes to Nelson Ledges to accelerate their engineering development by racing them in 24-hour endurance events. Registration is now open for the Sunday, June 12th track day at Nelson Ledges road course. The event will be run similar to their fun days. If you attended our event last year in October the format will be the same. We are keeping the Driver pass price the same as well ($100) . Family, friends and spectators are FREE.

First of all I want to thank everyone who attended. I also want to thank all of those who posted the event online on various forums and helped with getting registrations for our event. We will be working on another event maybe two for next year at Nelson Ledges in the coming months. We also want to thank all of our sponsors. With their help and Kerrie at Nelson Ledges we were able to offer you a lower registration fee. With that being said we are open to additional sponsorships for the next event. Shoot us an email if your group, company or organization would be interested in sponsoring our next event.
With this event and all future events we plan not only to offer you a safe and affordable way to put your vehicles on the track, but also provide a level of service and event coverage that other groups are missing. We are providing all the event photos and video to you free of charge! We have posted over 750 photos of the event online for you to view, download and share. We are still processing the video however will post it online once we have compiled all the footage.

Nelson Ledges is a two-mile, seven turn road course, with a history of sports car road racing. This event was created for the amateur sports car enthusiast; low performance cars and club racers. Experience the thrill of “Track” driving in a safe, controlled atmosphere. Participants will be grouped based on skill. Groups will run in separate 20 minute sessions. There will be 3 sessions per hour.
